that the All-Star game winner gets HFA in the WS for their league? For years it seemed Ranger hitters delivered wins for the AL All-Stars and to no benefit for the Rangers. And now that we're 1 game away from another potential trip to the WS, no HFA for the AL - ugh!

Too bad CJ took the lose in the All Star game. So in a way maybe we deserve to play on the road.

I'm ok with starting on the road in the WS. At this point I'd rather start with CJ and Colby than CJ and Holland.

I haven't looked at their record, but it seems like Rangers have played pretty well on the road over the last month or so.
HFA or not just get us there, baby.

This does a couple of things. It ensures Colby gets all of his potential starts on the road where he pitches much better. It also ensures that CJ pitches the last home game of the WS, or potentially allows him to pitch in games 4 and 7 if necessary.

No way. Ogando is the bridge to Adams and Feliz right now, and a solid one at that. We lose that, and we put ourselves at a major disadvantage.

It will also be based on how certain pitcher hit. I really hate that for 4 out of 7 games the Rangers would essentially lose a batter they have counted on all year.

Of course if it ends up being the Brewers, then I guess it is somewhat deserved since CJ gave up the game winning bomb to Fielder in the ASG.

in our case the batter we will lose would be Moreland who has struggled mightly thru September and the playoffs. MY becomes the 1st baseman.
