No because you don’t know when and if the league will truly recover. Believe it or not, there are people who turned off football because of the politics.
I do believe that people turned off of football.

Including about 3/4 of the SB, I only watched 5 games this year. That's a total of 5 games and most of them weren't full games either because the product is nearly unwatchable. It's too bad that folks woke up one day, and realized that politics and sports, have been intertwined all of their lives.

SN; With that last line, my foray into politics ends in this discussion.

If I wanted to watch politics, I would put on CSpan.

I wanted to watch football.

If I wanted to get their opinions, I would have asked.

The amount of people who “turned off football for the politics,” is vastly exaggerated.

Both sides exaggerate. “Boycott Hobby Lobby!” “Down with Chik-Fil-a!”
Riiiight.

That shit is fun to say but difficult to put into practice.

People probably didnt watch this super bowl because it featured tom fucking brady again, tampa bay (nobody cares about tampa bay), and kansas city is the 34th largest tv market in the US according to Wikipedia.

However, with the agreements likely coming before the 2021 cap number is set, some of the increase in revenue may get rolled into the coming year to help offset the reduction in cap expected as a result of revenues lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One question is whether the NFL Players Association, which negotiates the cap number with the league, will try to push harder for a more spread-out cap reduction, taking a smaller increase in the next few years to allow for a higher cap number in 2021.

the CBA can negotiate this

and as i suspected the networks and amazon believe the major reason for down revenue is covid 19 related and not other things . something i pointed out earlier
