^ and 1st in shots faced in the West (1145 - Miller has 1183)
1st in W (23 - Nabokov, Backstrom & Fleury have 22) and tied 2nd for GP (40 Rinne has 41 and Pavelec has 40 with Nemo)
2nd best shootout SV % in the West for goalies who have had more than 2 shootout games (.727 - Bobrovsky ahead of him with .731) while also facing the most shootout attempts (33) in the league.
3rd in the West for GA (84 - Howard has 83 GA on 37 GP, Bobrovsky has 69 goals on 35 GP) of goalies who have played > 34 games (arbitrary number I know, but makes Nemo look good).

My vote for MVP of the season by a wide margin.

Islanders really aren't that bad they have a pretty damn good offense, do nabby can give up 3 or 4 and still win. That being said I know he's had a lot of games with 2 or less and that is impressive

I expected him to have a sub .500 record and them to be at the bottom of the East, and when I saw this post I checked the goalie leaders and was like holy crap! I havnt followed him much at all this year cause I figured he'd be ending his career Kipper style on that team and I didnt want to remember him like that haha But shit, the Islanders actually making the playoffs? Looks like ill have an Eastern team to root for since Philly took a dump this year.

And not to take anything away from Niemi, he has been lights out this season its just when you think Sharks & Islanders you wouldnt expect both starting goalies to have pretty much identicle good records.

That's a bit of an overstatement, Lundy is a legit elite goaltender who does more with less in terms of offensive support then most goalies in the league. And his defense ain't exactly world beaters either. Put him on a team like the pens or even Vancouver he's probably has a cup ring by now

Lundqvist didn't deserve to get nominated this year but he gets nominated every year like he's a hall of famer or something... /shrug

Bobrovsky will win this one easily. Niemi will come in 2nd.
