I'd rather use Boyle like Hill than Love... Didn't spend a first round pick on Boyle... Gotta protect your top assets, not destroy them before you can use them...How about Tim Boyle?
That's not worth a 1st round pick, sorry.Hill has been a big contributor to the Saint's success.
But Love is a good runner, unlike Boyle who is a traditional pocket passer.I'd rather use Boyle like Hill than Love... Didn't spend a first round pick on Boyle... Gotta protect your top assets, not destroy them before you can use them...

Love is not a traditional pocket passer.RG3 was a good runner. Using him in that capacity contributed to the destruction of his career.
If Love gets used in that capacity, he's less likely to develop into a legit starting NFL QB and more likely to be another RG3/Vince Young/Kaep tuck-it-and-run-if-the-first-read-is-not-there QB.
The Packers have an opportunity to mold him into a legit NFL QB under one of the NFL's greatest QBs ever. LaFleur and Rodgers can work with him to properly read defenses and run for yardage when appropriate. If they put Love in the Taysom Hill role, Love will develop into a 1-read-&-run guy and those guys have a very short life in the NFL or are at-best career backups. I want Love to be better than that.Love is not a traditional pocket passer.
Love had mixed reviews in college. In my opinion, the Packers made a mistake in drafting him and most folks agree with me. It was a foolish pick by Green Bay.The Packers have an opportunity to mold him into a legit NFL QB under one of the NFL's greatest QBs ever. Whether it was a regrettable decision or not, they've now gotta commit to making the best out of it. I predict Love will be a bust.Whether it was a regrettable decision or not, they've now gotta commit to making the best out of it. Putting him a Taysom Hill type roll year 1 would be stunting his development.
...Now if we get to year 3 and it's looking like Love is never going to be an NFL starting QB, then putting him in a Taysom Hill type roll makes more sense because they're going to want to get something out of him.
And pretend like he's the heir apparent. They shouldn’t allow him to pass the ball and only use him in obvious running plays on the goal line?
