Objectively speaking he has a great voice and calls the game well, but he has abso-fucking-lutely no chemistry with anyone he works with. He completely ignores whoever he's calling the game with, talks down to former players and just comes off as an arrogant prick. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but I feel like he's a complete prick to Ryan Rowland-Smith. He refers to him as "hyphen" in a condescending manner and makes a ton of passive aggressive marks disrespecting the guys in the booth with him.

Goldsmith has turned me from Dave Sims' biggest critic to his biggest fan. At least Sims actually gets along well with whoever is in the booth, has a good time and actually listens to the insights of the people in the booth with him.

Chance to sweep with basically 4 days off afterwards and you bring in the hurricane in a tied game? Then you bring the infield in? I didn't like either decision that inning.

Last time I pitched a bitch about Goldsmith, I pretty much got hammered by a couple of posters on here. I've never cared for him and when he screams, it's over the top. I'm always disappointed when I see he's calling a game.

It does seem he is Jerry’s secret weapon. Without Montero it feels like the M’s would firmly have to be “buyers” because they would be leading in the wildcard.

Hard to imagine that he's even on the 26 man roster with the Mariners... He should be down in Tacoma... June he was horrendous... July he's been horrible as well...
