He shouldn't be in the majors!

probably gets himself suspendedKyle Schwarber told him off last night.........
probably gets himself suspended
funny part it wasnt his worse call
It's a cumulative thing. I think the ESPN guys mentioned his history a few times and he came through with a stellar performance. If I was a conspiracy theorist I might suggest that mlb and ESPN purposely set it up so that he was behind the plate in the national game, then made sure some social media "influencers" all highlighted his bad performance so maybe they can fire him some day.I honestly don’t understand why last nights game is getting all the attention it is getting. That game was pretty much par for the course for Hernandez.

Yep, over the tenure of his umpire career I’m pretty certain I’ve seen him call strikes when there’s dirt on the fucking ball. LolVerybut possible, I guess.
I forgot that that game was the ESPN national game. That makes sense that it would get more attention. But still, Angel gonna Angel. No one who knows anything about the game, even at arms length, knows Angel is a joke.
That was by no means his worst call. It was less than a ball high. He called a strike on a pitch that was at least 4 inches outside and a ball on a pitch that was around the belt and caught at least a ball over the plate.A robot would have done better…
After having this career for so long, I’m thinking he might enjoy the attention/controversy, because he’s certainly gonna be remembered after he’s gone. How does this guy DECIDE to remain an umpire? He has been a national joke for years. How thick is his skin to not hear the jeers thrown his way?
I don’t care how much he gets paid (within reason), it can’t be worth that much. He is universally hated. That can not be healthy for his own mental health.
