Dude, untwist your panties, and calm down.

Goodness, you get up in arms everytime someone disagrees with you.

By the way, I'm not saying Luck is average.

I'm just pointing out, that he does have a rather easy conference road. They went 4-2 last year, and 6-0 this year.

22 wins is impressive. They've beaten some good teams. I'm not disputing that. But, you can easily talk about the fact that 10 of his 22 regular season wins have come against a rather bad AFCS division that doesn't offer much resistance.

By the way, if you look at the stats, Dalton also outplayed Rodgers, Brady, Luck, and Stafford...so, you know, just sayin'. That doesn't always mean something. Calm down, nancy.

Whoa cowboy. I would hardly say I need to calm down or am 'up in arms.' Just pointing out that you picked some interesting games to highlight.

And everyone has shitty teams in their division or on their schedule. Do people give Tom Brady shit because he gets the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets every year? And the Texans were a playoff team last year, and the year before, so I wouldn't say that the AFCS is crap. 10-2 in conference is good for ANY QB, regardless of conference, especially for your first 2 years in the league.

I guess I am just unclear at your motivation as to why you're trying to discount the best young QB in the league so badly.

Show me where I've said he was average in this thread? I haven't. I was just pointing out the schedule a bit when someone said he's won 22 games. I've said it was impressive. It also merrits discussion on 10 of his 22 victories have come against less-than stellar inter-conference play.

Brady has been doing this for years, and his first year he ended up playing major minutes, he won a super bowl, right? Not exactly the same correlation.

Maybe had brady come in like Luck, and played for 2 years and not really advanced in the playoffs, then there would be some pockets of people saying the same things. We'll never know. You could probably bet that if Brady took the pats to 2 playoffs in his first two years, but failed, you would have some pockets talking about how NE needs a true 1st round QB, and not some 6th rounder who can't get over the 'bump'. Not saying it would be fair, but you always have those people for each team.

Luck, as far as talent, is probably one of the best young pure passers to come into the league in a long time. I think on the Bengals, they would be immediate S.B. contenders. There's no question. IND has no run game, and lacks a true #1 WR, and once Wayne went down, it was clear Luck was hurting for options to throw to.

Again, I was just pointing out that, while yes he's won 22 games, it is absolutely FAIR to state that 10 of those wins have come from a division that isn't exactly "strong". Hou/Titans are not exactly Pitt/Baltimore or Sea/49 or Car/NO.

This is my point. Why is he the best young Qb? Why is there even a distinction between best young/best qb? Can't he just be a good qb for now until he does something?
He has as many playoff wins as Tebow, Matt Ryan, Tony Romo, TJ Yates, Matt Schaub, Jay Cutler and Alex Smith
He has more playoff wins than Carson Palmer, RGIII, Cam Newton
He has less wins that Flacco, Kaepernick, Sanchez.

Yeah, it's hard to believe this team hasn't been able to get over that playoff hump.

Insert laughing Mike here, please.....I can't find it

Luck deserves all the praise he gets. He's a transcendent talent on a crap team. Seriously, swap Dalton for Luck and the Colts probably only win 4 games. They certainly don't make the playoffs and mount the best comeback ever. He's that good and I think we can say with almost certainty that he will win a SB in Indy.

He's the best young QB because he's got elite skills in pretty much every possible area. He can make any throw, is smart as hell and is way more athletic than given credit for. It's also stupid to compare QB's because it's not apples to apples. Luck plays behind one of the worst offensive lines in football and has nothing to work with at the skill positions. Compare his situation to any of those guys you listed above.
