At least it didn't require surgery.

I'd put a cast on it over a brace too if I had the option. Offers a lot more protection and can still be taken off whenever. Not like he has anything better to do.

Sanzenbacher just made the team.....I think Hawk may be lookin at IR or start the season on PUP....I think IR with the 8 week come back rule...

I don't think he's eligible for the PUP now as he' pracitced. He can go on IR and then be designated to return mid-year, like Cook last year.

There is a Training Camp PUP and a Season PUP...I think he can go on the Season PUP...Since he practiced he cant go on the Training Camp PUP......If Im wrong then it will be the 8 game rule....

Training camp PUP and Season PUP are the same thing. You can't practice at all during mini-camps and such...that PUP carries into the season.

Once you practice, that's it. Remember that WR who was taken off PUP, practiced for 10 minutes, got hurt, and had to be placed on IR for the season?

He will go on IR, and will probably have the designation to return.

Per Joe Reedy...Hawkins is not eligible for PUP.

It's IR only. Though, again, he could be designated to return. I guess that will have to wait, though.

My guess if, if he's not practicing by week 3, he's going on IR, and Sanzenbacher will take his spot on the roster.

So with Hawkins going to IR...Thats why CIncy isnt saying anything they will announce that ish later in August.... WHo will be the 6 or 7 receivers we keep???

We keep 7 and someone will be cut or IRed in his place at mid season....Hawkins goes on 8 game IR.....We re-evaluate around game 6 if we take him off or not.....

Hamilton WILL NOT get cut he wont make it to the practice squad.....he stays on the 53....

We wont keep 5 while Hawkins is on IR recall..... We keep 7...Whalen stays on the team.....

I agree, Hawkins' injury has definitely opened another spot, but Tate just refuses to go away, and the coaching staff seems to like him. If Tate makes the team, which is unfortunately probable, then Sanzenbacher, Hamilton, and Whalen are fighting for only two spots.
