A Kings game that I can watch! I like those kinds of games.

He used to give big hits and even meaningful ones at times so that was at least something when he wasn't producing....now he doesn't even do that really.

Kings are not underperforming, the effort is there. They are missing a few pieces as it relates to their possession style system. They are losing to better teams, that's how it works.

That SOB Perron was an excellent pick up for them, he sucked in Pittsburgh. I'm afraid it is the same effect as when we got Gaborik. Hope I'm wrong come playoff time.

Ducks pushed the play and took it to the Kings as they did last game, LA has a hard time not chasing the play when they are against the Ducks. Kings also seem to get caught up retaliating (even tho no penalties) but this puts them out of position and not paying attention. Im guessing Versteeg broke his hand/finger punching a helmet

Ducks just have their number this season, nothing to panic about even though it stings being the Ducks. Remember, the Stars pwned LA for like 12 years at one point winning the Cup in 1999 in that span and sniffing nothing since in the 17 years after.

The Ducks are living off the PP and that luck will run out soon too. Honestly not worried about them, as Pete said, they are peaking way too early. That happens though when you start off like shit and need to play catch up, which is why the poor starts by LA always concern me.

Look at it this way: they were tabbed to be the division winners last fall from the gate and it took Game 62 for them to finally get first place by themselves. That is far behind projections they were, and ramping it up now only zaps them of chops in April.

Got a new Kings flag up at the house, my old silver and black took a beating with the winds and weather we had about a month ago. Annoyed, I had that thing for 20+ years and it was favorite but it was so shredded it looked like a pirate flag and I had to do something about it. The Kings were sputtering with the old flag beat to hell.

Got this guy and the flag is 4-2; coincidentally both losses have been to Anaheim.

And this is just my theory, but I think the Ducks will be hitting a slump now.

They were so busy playing catch up and now in first in the division, I think they will hit that wall we have been talking about. It's like complacency, they finally got to first - I fully expect them to lose more games than win in the coming weeks.

It's a psychological thing, and I won't be surprised to see it.
