Yep time to get on a good run! Then they have a few days off before the crapitols....scheds not bad.

Heard Mez is in for Gusty. Probably two reasons get him some ice and maybe showcase him for trade. Probably good for Gusty to watch a game anyway plus creates some competition.

Chief wasn't too thrilled with Gusty's play last game so that's part of it - hopefully Mesz can figure out some things and help this team - if he's anywhere close to how he played in his first season with the team, that would be a boost

Perry and Getzlaf are likely to see a lot of Sean Couturier and they're not going to like it either.

BACK WHERE HE BELONGS - Philadelphia Flyers - News

I don't care if Couturier ever scores as long as he shuts down or severely limits the top scorer on the other team. Read and Simmonds are bound to chip in some goals anyway and that line looks good all over the ice right now. I'm glad they're letting Couturier do what he does best, because it seems like Laviolette had him doing other things.

On a lesser note, I'm wondering why the hell the logo of the opposing team is always bigger than ours in these gameday threads!?!

:noidea: :wtf2:

Is it not at least strange? It's not a huge deal, but it's tough to ignore and you almost wonder if it's being done on purpose...lol

hey it's working lately, dont question it :)

I'm not about to get superstitious here. I believe in this team and the players on it...100% in full.

That said, this is going to be a very difficult game tonight. Given how terrible the Ducks are on the power play (8.2%) and penalty kill (76.2%), they must be insanely good at even strength to be 9-3, having scored 39 goals already (more than twice as many as we have).

Yep just let Coots shut down the opposing top lines, that's what the Flyers need - it let's Simmer and Matt Read focus on offense, which they need

I don't know what it is lol but every time I make GDT's in whatever thread, there's always someone making a negative comment - I've been doing GDT's for a while, I do it my way, just like others do it their way, it's only a GDT, shouldn't be a big deal but whatever lol
