with all the great players to come through Detroit over the past 20-some years, i think datsyuk may be the best of the bunch, factoring in his entire ridiculous skill set offensively and defensively, stickhandling, creativity, deceptive toughness (and sense of humor...)

just so you know how hard it is for me to say this, yzerman is my favorite athlete of all time and always will be, lidstrom is a hero of mythic proportion...

but man, i don't know anymore, i have never been so consistently amazed in so many consistently new ways as i have been by datsyuk.

Oh, is this another bullshit Corsi and Fenwick conversation-starter about unsustainable shooting percentages? Because I'm not really interested in reading math about why the team who went 3-0 against the Blackhawks this season is really a bottom-eight club.

Haha... no, sorry, not interested into starting any long discussion.

My opinion is that Anaheim is overrated and they weren't playing their best hockey coming into the playoffs, which is why I was hoping the Sharks would drop to #7 to face them and bounce them out.

I'm not sure whether the Wings have enough to win 2 more but I'm hoping they do. If not, the Ducks are out next round no matter who they play. This is not a Stanley Cup caliber team. I hope I'm not bursting your bubble or anything. :P
