You know your OPINION is that is should be green. Very weak and childish argument when discussing a topic you started about UDUB football. Are you old enough to be on the internet by yourself?

Hey jackass calm the fuck down.

That's your final warning !

A) Stanford was ranked when the Dawgs beat them

B) The day I want your opinion I will shove a dildo in my own ass for better entertainment

C) focus on breaking down that dime bag, cause after Saturday you wont be here anymore!
Predictable water cooler response. Past rankings don't hold much weight. In fact the collapse of teams like Stanford,Oregon etc...Hurt the huskies SOS.

Waashingto has 3-4 games left pending the North winner. The only ranked opponent they have left may be Wazzou unless they make the CCG. Which will be against the winner of a dog fight in the south. That may also effect potential rankings.Between Colorado,USC and Utah.

Bolded games all hold definite ranking implications

Colorado still has to play Arizona,Washington State and Utah

USC still has Washington.UCLA and ND

Utah has to play ASU,Oregon and Colorado

The PAC has many possibilities for potential disaster. When you compare the PAC schedules and rankings. To the Other P5 conferences. There are several potential scenarios. Where we may see 2 teams from one conference. In the playoffs this year. Especially with the positions and remaining schedules of Michigan and Louisville. There are several possibilities where SOS may play a major role this year. Thats just a small breakdown. I can get in more depth when I'm done breaking down this dime bag

So you think a 13 - 0 Washington team would be left out of the playoffs?

Agree with this. Penn State may be ranked in the top 10, but UM was literally running out the clock against them in the 2nd half. They were not good. Outside the OSU game, they have beaten nobody. The next best win is Temple?
In my opinion the final rankings hold more weight than the early rankings. Teams have yet to be defined early in the season. That would be like saying Michigan did not have a win over a quality Colorado team. Should they finish ranked.Or Nebraska had a win over a quality Oregon team. Early season rankings are over rated.

If OSU runs the table, they'll certainly be ahead of Washington. Washington State, at best, will be 8-4 which I don't think will be enough to keep them ranked. There's a real chance they could lose to Cal this weekend. If they lose to Colorado and beat Washington, there's a distinct chance that the Pac-12 is left out of the playoff.

So you think a 13 - 0 Washington team would be left out of the playoffs?

There are several very cool Washington posters on here and you are embarrassing them all, along with yourself.

I don't think you want to use Finebaum to back up your arguments. Just admit Washington hasn't been tested yet. Utah is good, but not great. They won't get tested till the CFP.
Well the Huskies should get tested this weekend against USC and then against WSU. If the Huskies are lucky, then they will get a chance to play in the PAC 12 CG. If they win that game, then IMO, the Committee can't keep them out of the playoff, if the Huskies are undefeated.

...They beat a bunch of cupcakes !

Really ! That's all they've done !

Rutgers- 2-7, 0-6 Big 10
Idaho- 5-4, 3-2 Sunbelt
Portland St. 3-6, :L
Arizona 2-7, 0-6 Pac 12
Stanford 6-3, 4-3 Pac12 (this team played a bunch of cupcakes too)
Oregon 3-6, 1-5 Pac12
Oregon St. 2-7, 1-5 Pac12
Utah 7-2, 4-2 Pac12 (this team played a bunch of cupcakes too)
California 4-5, 2-4 Pac12

So tell me which of the powerhouse teams they've played so far this year, listed above, that puts them in the top 5 ?
Umm, looking at my schedule I'll take Oregon for 1000?

That is probably what will happen. Then they will get embarrassed in the first playoff game.

Edit: And at the end of the season they will not have beaten a quality team.

No the actual "water cooler " response would be , " No the rest of the Pac 12 hasn't held up there end of the deal" kinda like the SEC you got Bama then the other teams....

Washington finishes undefeated they will be in the playoffs...

They are undefeated in the PAC with wins over Stanford, Oregon, Cal, etc.. While most college football observers (all experts) understand what this means you clearly don't. Now, if you don't like my post to your thread, as obvious to a astute observer as they may be, either get a clue or stop whining. YOU are the one that does't understand, you fucking dolt....

Did you even read the OP ? Perhaps you can go get an adult to read it for you and then explain it....

Here is a clue to your current stupidity:

Rutgers- 2-7, 0-6 Big 10
Idaho- 5-4, 3-2 Sunbelt
Portland St. 3-6, :L
Arizona 2-7, 0-6 Pac 12
Stanford 6-3, 4-3 Pac12 (this team played a bunch of cupcakes too)

As it proved last year. There was a pretty good gap between the top two (Bama & Clem) and the other two (Sparty and Bama). Big disparity IMO.
There is a lot of in conference cupcakes as well. The OOC schedule for Washington isn't really helping, but your in conference schedule is what's killing you really.

All the AD's say it's hard to schedule OOC games. What needs to be done is to come up with a way to make that easier, and also more incentive for teams to schedule them.

Personally, I'm interested in what Washington does this coming week with USC. Who I think will likely end the season in the top25. They will easily be the most talented team Washington has played this year, so let's see how that goes. You blow them out and Washington is legit.
The point for the OP though is the system is designed so that if UW isn't legit they will either still lose before selection or at least lose in the first round. People can debate on whether 4 is enough or not and whether good teams get left out and those are valid points of discussion, but it is the system we have. Yes, the conference is down this year and we expected as much. You had only 4 teams in the entire conference returning a starting QB and 3 of them are now at the top of the conference. It's not hard to do that math. A whole lot of teams paying that price. With so many young QB's though, imagine the pac in two years. Nearly everyone will have seasoned veteran QB's.

It really doesn't matter how easy their schedule has been. The system in place rewards them just for being in a P5 and not losing any games. If they find a way to reach 13-0 they are in, whether or not they have proven they belong. And it doesn't matter if people think Ohio state or other teams left out might be better.

I'm proud you have an actual college football related response. This delves into the PAC having a down year. And hurting the SOS of PAC teams contending for the playoffs. While I don't agree with the conference love concept. In the end aside from scheduling strong OOC games. Conferences do need teams to perform and achieve rankings. In order to bolster SOS. The PAC has become so chaotic a one kiss team. Is in a bad position when compared to other conferences. With several ranked teams. In regards to the playoffs .

Translation- yep SC shit the bed against Bama and UCLA against A&M, so basically the Pac has that shit division just like the SECC....
