bout time! Now just another month-ish before it counts. Here's to hoping the inevitable TC injuries will be very few for the entire league this year!

some here have posted a very long time together. Health still required but with health, I'm as excited as I've ever been for a football season. been a lot of shit over the years and thankfully we've still never been Washington.
So much bull shit for just being a Dallas fan...yet through the worst 20 year stretch in team history, Dallas remained NFL relevant to so many outside cowboy nation. Love um, hate um, the Dallas Cowboys remain an NFL draw and top story line.

My optimism has everything to do with the coaches and scouts assembled and their ability to do their jobs at a high level. (thanks for that gm jerry) The attitude, desire and accountability to TEAM is finally right again in Dallas. I know better than most it's a week to week league, BUT my expectations are high for the first time in a very long time.

Glad to hear someone in DC has some intelligence. Their GM came out admitting that they won't be the best team this year, and that their #5 pick isn't the most talented. But he has good character, which is all they want out of guys like Galette.

Not too often you see this from a team. To me it him either trying to take the presure off of the v team, or he knows the fans will call for his head when they faii, at least he can point to this and say he told them so.

What is in contract length? I say the guy won't make it 3 years. And the snapback will be just what we expect from Danny boy. He will get tired of 3 more seasons in last, fire the GM and coach, throw money at some college coach and then go out and buy the most overpriced FA he can. My money is on Lane Kiffin as their next coach.

Washington could surprise, but it all comes down to RG3. They have talent at RB, WR, TE, OT.....If Griffin played well, they could be a dangerous team, but that's a big if

TE is a big question, can they keep Paul or Reed healthy? OL is spotty at best. Some youth there, but don't think it is a top 10 line like Robert is going to need. WR talent? Djax and some hopefuls. RB they have talent at, but that's it.

Not too worried about them getting out of the basement unless someone gets injured on another team to be worse than Wash.

I look forward to EVERY season. I also enjoy every season. Loved those 8-8 seasons too. I guess that's why I don't get into the late season "throw a game for a better draft pick" thinking...

TE is a big question, can they keep Paul or Reed healthy? OL is spotty at best. Some youth there, but don't think it is a top 10 line like Robert is going to need. WR talent? Djax and some hopefuls. RB they have talent at, but that's it.

I saw that, that sucks. I thought I read yesterday morning that Paul and Reed would both sit this one out because of nicks. Reed can't ever stay healthy, so Paul is a tough loss for the Skins. Both TE's look like they could be dominant, but Skins just have terrible luck with TE's. Keep getting guys that look the part but then have injuries or suspension problems.
