Well the captured the feel of a lot of the slasher movies but there's got to be some kind of twist coming because this is going to get old fast if they just play it straight. Then again, most seasons of AHS go off the rails about 4 episodes in anyway

So this show purely exists for the writers to have something to jerk off to right? Recently watched a few episodes of the Roanoke series and it was absolutely dumb as fuck unless you enjoying spanking it to torture porno and people fucking in animal costumes.

I just can't imagine anybody sitting in a writers room while putting this show together and not laughing their asses off at what they might be able to get away with on TV or just purely getting really hard.

Starting watching it, only an episode or two and just not into it. The last few disappointed me, wasn't into the Cult one either. Apocalypse one, I saw most of that one, wasn't into that much either.

Might try to start 1984 up again...I don't think I gave it a chance. It sucks I have to be in the "mood" to watch this show now. It was so good before I couldn't wait to watch it lol.

It's not bad, but this season is all dependent on your taste of movies/tv shows. If you like movies like the original Friday the 13th movies or 80s horror movies, then you will like this. If not, then you might want to pass this season. It dragged on for a bit but the last 2-3 episodes were really good. Saved the season for me. If you can make it to the last 3 episodes, I think you'll be glad you toughed it out the first few episodes lol. It's not as bad as Freak Show, in my opinion. But it's not one of the good seasons either. I'd put it above Freak Show and Hotel if I were to rank them out.

the only thing I liked about this season, is that there wasn't that abandon the storyline twist... They actually stayed on path all season... think it was the first time they did that since the first season...

Really, I have no clue why I still watch the show, only liked the first season... but I have yet to miss an episode...

Yea I don't know if they think it's cute or what. I thought it worked in Hotel but the twist in season two ruined an otherwise great season.

The end to freak show was just absurd.

if they continue with linear story telling, then maybe they will have another good season or two somewhere...

Yeah, usually there's this huge twist that sends the show off in another direction. While there is a twist, it's a mild one that doesn't take the train off the rails. With that said, there just wasn't much substance in the first few episodes for me to WANT to stay tuned in. I still tuned in, but it was mainly because I just didn't want to fall behind and get the show spoiled for me lol. But I was glad that I kept up with it in the end.
