Starting watching it, only an episode or two and just not into it. The last few disappointed me, wasn't into the Cult one either. Apocalypse one, I saw most of that one, wasn't into that much either.

It ended up being pretty decent. It's not the best, but its not terrible either. The plot didn't totally go off the rails like most AHS seasons do so that's a plus. It was definitely better than Cult and Apoc

Seems like the beginning of the end for Netflix & AHS... Not a big loss since AHS hasn't been very exciting as of late. Losing both Paulson & Peters was a huge loss. At least Netflix was able to pull Sarah Paulson away for their new Netflix Original Tv show called Ratched.

AHS is destined to end up exclusively on Hulu after the big merger between FX & Disney.

I actually liked Apocalypse. Thought Roanoke was garbage and Cult was hard to finish.

DIdn't see 1984 yet. Losing Paulson and Peters was pretty big

Have you had a chance to watch Ratched?

Not yet. Wife wanted to watch it with me so I’ve been holding off until we had the chance to start it. You?
Lol.... she wears the pants...

Yeah. I just wrapped it up tonight. I liked it. I won't say anything that might ruin it for you.

Does it have an AHS feel or not at all?
Little bit at times, but only by feel.... it doesn't help that it also has Finn Wittrock and Jon Jon Briones in it.

Doesn't look like anyone announced this yet.... But AHS: S10 cast looks like it is returning to prominence...

Paulson & Peters are finally back. Bates has been very underrated in this series as well. Glad she's back. Only person missing is Lange. Culkin is an interesting choice. Haven't seen him on the screen in a minute.

i thought it did have the feel entirely... Same music, same story telling tricks, and same random absurdity...

The only big difference is that Ratched had a linear story path... and didn't change entirely at any point...

it is... But i felt like they tried.... They were kind of going absurd with some of the story lines... But never got AHS bad...
Well... Ryan Murphy is the creator of both...

I'll watch it just because I'm a fan of the show, but I can't say that I'm excited to watch it. Especially after the horridness that was 4-5 out of the 7 episodes of American Horror Stories.

I stopped watching this one after the carnival season (I think…. I think hotel was the first I skipped).

Anything good after carnival?

Freak Show was the carnival season (season 4). So the ones I'd say you should watch are season 6 Roanoke (the best imo) and season 9 1984. Those two are pretty strong all the way thru. Season 8 Apocalypse is pretty decent too as it ties a lot of the seasons together, especially the early seasons (1 thru 3). Hotel (season 5) and Cult (season 7, the worst imo) are entirely skipable .

Yeah I never finished the Witch series I think took place in New Orleans or something. The Carnival one went pretty far because that clown was a major sensation at the time. To me American Horror story would have moments when its creepy/intense but it can be drowned in dialogue in which my interest would leave me to watch something else.

Anyone watching?

The first part, Red Tide, was just ok. Nothing special. Not terrible, but not exactly good either.

The second part, Death Valley, has been more interesting thru 2 episodes so far. I like this one a lot more

The endings by in large have not been good

Season 2 was really good until the end

Same with carnival

Cult ending also dumb
