Goood lawwwwd, where does this stuff come from?
Lay off dat Flint H2O thar, M&B
An eye for an eyeAnother thread hijacked by Michigan idiots.

A 6 win team is "playing for a title" because that team could arbitrarily be voted into the playoff by the committee (a committee that has final say and no oversight).
Funny, I don't recall quoting any Bama fans. Please pay attention ... I've oft questioned your reading comprehension, but this may take the cake.I agree, the logic Alabama fans use that I'm replicating is illogical.
Ya better watch it or mNb09 will start talkin' shit about USC. And you don't want that!
What's more funny is that you think an 8 year slip somehow changes the historical significance of a program. What's hilarious is you've somehow convinced yourself that meeeechegan is an elite program right now w/o winning anything. What color is the sky in your world?
"playing for a title" means nothing. It's a made up stat. A 6 win team is "playing for a title" because that team could arbitrarily be voted into the playoff by the committee (a committee that has final say and no oversight). The only time you're not playing for a title is if you're in a bowl game that isn't the playoff, or ineligible for a bowl.
When there is no automatic bid to the playoff, there is no "playing for a title" until you're in it.Only if it's Oregon and even then, it could only happen in scenario village.
See above. Unless there's an auto-bid into a playoff, you aren't playing for one until you are actually playing for one. It's a voting system and anyone could be voted in. While they almost certainly won't, the system is set up with loopholes built in. No one previously thought two teams who just played in a conference title game could end up in the BCS title game either. You really need to take a deep breathe of fresh air outside the sphincter, the inner smell has made you less intelligent.
You should pay more attention to the thread you're participating in and the quotes you're quoting. I've been using Alabama logic this whole time. If you have a problem with that, you actually have a problem with the behavior and logic of Bama fans.Funny, I don't recall quoting any Bama fans. Please pay attention ... I've oft questioned your reading comprehension, but this may take the cake.

Michigan is 1 of 13 teams to have won a national title in the last 20 years.
Facts don't align with your narrative. OSU didn't lose elite status in the 90's because Michigan won 8/10 games.

Really, please explain how we shared the AP national title? If you're going off uncontested national titles where all random polls were unanimous, then there was only 3 true national championship teams since 1950 prior to the BCS era. Nebraska, USC and Texas. And only 6 during the BCS era, FSU, Miami, Texas and Bama. (Sorry Bama, your 2012 title is only .5 because you shared it with ND; given the CM poll voted them national champions over you). And that one was shared....19 years ago. Hold tight onto that stat, because it'll be useless in 2 years.
