They will recall Buchanan after the all star break. They want him to have a start in the minors so he won't have to wait too long between starts. Sizemore will probably cause Gwynn to have less at bats which might be a good thing!

Yea Gwynn really does need some time to sit and grieve. That was a helluva blow he took with his dad's death. Buchanan needs a few reps in the minors and let's see what Sizemore can do.

Definitely Retro. Look for a Silver Slugger and possibly a Gold Glove this year, as long as the voters don't continue their negative large city-team bias that they've had the last 15 years. I mean Jeter has won over 20 Gold Gloves, and he has played for a relatively small market team his whole career. Hmmmmm
