Looks like both Ngata and Revis will stay put, keeping them out of FA. I know some fans wanted to get these guys vs. tagging Suh. Does this change your minds or do the Lions still let Suh go and do their best to sign some other guys?

Salary Caps for 2014

» Over the Cap- NFL Salary Cap Space 2013

reading this article will absolutely make you cringe.

It wouldn't be a bad thing, financially speaking, to be the Raida's, Jags, Colt's, Skin's, Browns, Vikings

BTW; Brown's canned Pres. Joe Banner and GM Mike Lombardi today. Bill Ford Jr. should grow the same pair of balls that Brown's owner Jimmy Haslam has. Haslam has admitted his mistakes in hiring former HC Chudzinkski and the (2) above. Result, Fired their ASSES !!!!
Didn't we make the playoffs? Isn't Caldwell a good hire? Don't we look like a solid team on the rise? So start over? Like we did with Millen who took a 9-7 team and turned them into the worst team in football?

Has there been any news lately about these hoe's even talking to Suh? It's only a couple weeks away from free agency.... WTF

On a side note....
This "alerts" is the shit. I always wrote messages and then would get lost on the threads if I didn't check it for awhile. Now it's much easier to have mini-conversations in the threads. Thanks SportsHoopla.

Yea, thunder, there has been reported negotiations. Also been reported that the Lions will tag Suh if a deal isn't reached.

Tagging him? Fuck that. It's like 30 million for 1 player. I'm fine with giving him 15-20. 30 is laughable

I'll say nothing more on this until Feb 26 to see where things stand. That's five days before the deadline date of March 2 to tag and 10 days into the two week window where teams can tag players.

That's plenty of time for LewAAnd to get the deal in place he says has a very good chance of happening.

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.

Suh has worn out his welcome in Detroit.

If the Jags were to make an offer to Suh that is much higher in guaranteed $$$ than all other suitors, then I'd say he would take it. JMO, this 2nd contract is all about the most "guaranteed money" he can get from any team. I think when you consider other teams in the possible loop to sign him most of those teams would come with huge question marks regarding playoff caliber, outside of Indy or Det.

Yeah, like 70-80 million guaranteed. Live in the sunshine state. Dude would be crazy not to take that.

Or he could take 50 million guaranteed and return to the Lions who haven't won a playoff game in 20 years. PLUS get to live in Michigan where it snows like hell in the winter and is muggy and mosquito infested swamphole in the summer.

You think Suh lives in the D full time? I don't, but I haven't researched it to find out. I would suspect in the off season he spends PLENTY of time away from Michigan.

Suh will take the MOST $$$ offered in Guarantees... Period. IT"S STRICTLY A BUSINESS DECISION FOR HIM FIRST AND FOREMOST, JMHO. now if somehow the Jets came in slightly under some other offer, I'll say he would go to NY as he could benefit greatly from the exposure NY has to offer and endorsement deals. IMO, $$$ are more important right now that winning, not that I know him personally, it simply derives from all the articles I've read about him getting advice from Warren Buffett

Yeah, I know I would. I lived in Michigan 24 years and on the west coast here another 11. Shit is night and day difference. I'm sure he hops a plane immediately after the season is over.

Speaking of which, I get to visit that beautiful place in April. Shit better not still be snowing there. At least I will get to eat that bomb ass FRANKIE'S. I seen they put one up in Mishawaka now. No more going to the ghetto to get some.

Oh u visit SB in April? Yeah it's a balmy 15 today. ;) And yeah the Frankies is just down the block from Barnaby's pizza. Makes for a tough decision when traveling down that road.

15? Fuck all that.

I'll definitely be hitting up that meat lovers pizza at Barnaby's. Way better than the over rated Bruno's pizza. I don't care if they use kraft pizza sauce. The cracker crust is so damn good.

Frankie's, Barnaby's and king Gyros are the must hit's when traveling there.
