Should have cleaned house twice already. Phins did the same as Lions. Straightened up instead cleaning the entire house.
Sometimes a new coach with old GM works. In some cases, as we're seeing, it doesn't.

Me too. But the point is he doesn't watch the games. I don't waste my time talking football with PFF nerds.

Good news is Suh won't be wasted on a bad staff for 5 years like he was here.

Sometimes a new regime has a immediate impact. Sometimes they don't. They go in rebuild mode for no reason. Tannehill with a completion % in the forties won't help anyone win.

Both franchises have regressed so bad. Both have talented rosters. Which one is better? Don't care, it is a going to be a wasted season in Detroit. The Raiders will have a better season and if that is not enough to get Mayhew fired. I have no clue what will?

You guys don't remember Suh dissappearing in Lions games all throughout the years? I do. Its funny watching these arguments over this. The Lions and Dolphins both suck and they have decent rosters. This should tell everyone that both teams have terrible coaches.

According to some here, Miami is supposed to have a great OC. Nope. Lol.

Anybody noticing how Atlanta just scores when they want to and their roster isnt even as good as the Lions?

Atlanta can actually run the ball. Detroit cannot. Tevin Coleman almost had as many carries in week 1 (20), that Detroit has given Abdullah in 3 weeks (21). Joique Bell would need roughly 1100 carries to reach the 1200 yards he predicted with his stellar 1.1 ypc average.

The Miami OC was the first guy to turn Mayhew down. I'm afraid the old man just can't eye talent anywhere anymore.

I just said after week one that Suh would dominate and disappear in games. I get hammered when speaking of flaws. Got hammered when speaking of CJ having crucial drops in the Ravens game. Superstars are not off limits in my eyes.

LS1... Both sides were so far off this off season. The sooner we can all laugh at it, the better. Lord knows I was wrong on few points.

Notice I did not mention Stafford in my superstar point. That's one point I've been right on.

You damn near made him out to be genius earlier. How smart he was for turning down the Lions to go to a real franchise. Seems you're no smarter than Mayhew here.

Believe it or not, rumor is Miami reached out to Schwartz about becoming the new DC in Miami. Three days later, Coyle is fired. Wonder if there's a connection?

As long as no wide9 Suh and the Lions sucked in that system.

Although Suh is awesome, so don't report. Please,
I don't want to banned by... Oh nevermind I'm good.

Negative on Schwartz. He declined their offer, citing that he wanted a HC job. I'd have loved to see Schwartz take the job, but I get it.

Not a Schwartz fan. His passion was great at times, but cause chaos also.

Meh, I like chaos. Fires me up. Had Schwartz been coaching us in Dallas and last week vs Seattle, no way in hell do the refs walk off the field without chaos erupting. I'd kill to see that passion here now.

Dolphins promoted DBs coach Lou Anarumo to defensive coordinator.

Anarumo's first order of business was asking Suh what plays he wants to run. Smart guy.

I'd take Jimbo over Caldwell any day.

Me too. Both won dd games vs bad teams and lost in round 1, but Schwartz cared like a muther. He gave this team an attitude and an identity. Schwartz would have burned the place down for his players and us fans.

Now, were just an 0-4 team that quietly shuffles their feet and walks away each time the NFL let's us know we don't count.
