Ryan Nemeth suing AEW for how they handled him and some issue related to him and Punk. But the most interesting detail in his allegations is that people in backstage roles were encouraging him (and others) to cut promos to agitate and provoke Punk.

What a bunch of dumbasses. Actively going out of their way to piss off and run off their biggest star.

Not surprising. It all started with the cryptic Hangman promos that supposedly went off script. Who the hell benefits from making the biggest star in the company look as bad as possible? It's wrestling so I always approach it as though we don't know what's actually going on behind the scenes but if you take these reports at a surface level they make absolutely no sense from an AEW business perspective

It's the Young Bucks being petty bitches because they actually thought Punk was trying to get Colt Cabana fired when the truth is Punk didn't give two shits about Colt and Tony Khan was gonna let him go anyway because he never used him. So they kept leaking all kinds of stories and shit about Punk to the sheets and using their buddies to rile him up. The Bucks almost destroyed the entire company because they wanted Tony Khan to pay Colt Cabana to do nothing.

In the past three years, they've pretty much run off the two best wrestling minds they had (Cody and Punk). Coincidently, Cody leaving was (at least for me) the start of seeing the cracks in the foundation that've gotten a lot larger since then. And I think the attendance and viewership issues are showing that.
Another thing about the nepotism of the Bucks is the final straw that got Punk canned, Jack Perry. They're trying to turn him into this tough guy that's able to withstand everything when he's not the least bit believable in that role. Hell, it looks like high schoolers could easily take him out if they wanted to. If Punk got canned for that incident, Perry should've as well. I doubt that WWE would've had any interest in him since Punk is obviously a bigger star and Perry probably would've just continued to flounder around the Indy's or Japan.

They need to do like they did a few years ago with the currently MIA Wardlow and just have him destroy people to build up his credibility. Except not bungle it like they did with him.
