I think Alfred will be seeing more playoff appearances and pro-bowls in his future, but is there any chance he surpasses his amazing rookie numbers anytime soon?
So you think hes gonna come in around 1600 yards and 13td's?
He could get the TDs, but not likely the yards.
One of my biggest beefs with the Shannahans is that they got way too cute inside the 10. Alf was often off the field, and when he was on it, he did not get the rock as often as he should have.
Morris is essentially built for short yardage situations and I expect Gruden to better use his talents on goal to go downs.
Agree 100%. In the red zone they sucked calling plays. Run the damn ball.
i think some of you guys dont get that matching his rookie numbers means he isnt doing as well .
i dont think he gets the touches to get 1600 yds plus . he could/should get the tds though
and wasnt his rookie year a "breakout " year ?
It's hard to say the word breakout, when the man had 1,600+ yards. He's already established himself as an elite runner. Case in point, his name hasn't been called in the NFL's Top 100 players and we are at 40-31. It will be called, but to be within the top 50, opponents have noticed he is a legit RB. Now, back to the breakout thing. I believe Alfred will have between 1,200-1,300+ yards. I can't ask for more than that. If he surpasses that, fine.
Tell ya what I'd like to see. 1200 rushing yards and another 200 receiving yards. He would then me a multiple threat back and much more dangerous.
