I think Tanaka's H/A splits probably sealed the deal, although his road splits are, in my opinion, a bit skewed due to the hammering he got in London.

Not for nothing, the Twins murder LHP. Paxton's not your typical lefty, but it is what it is.

I get that but in a critical game, I want Tanaka.

I honestly would have just named the game 1 starter (if you can)

Because if we lose tmr then of course I want Tanaka on the mound in game 2 but I would prefer Sevy in game 2 if we win game 1

Yeah tough 9 years.

Thankfully we haven’t waited 8 times that length for a World Series

Preaching to the choir. I wanted Tanaka in game 1 and most importantly on extra rest for a potential game 5.

But this year Boone has built a ton of benefit of the doubt in my mind.
