As everything indicates, should be a really close series. I'm guessing if Minny had HF, the percentages would be reversed.

I don't know, I think the Twins hit even more homeruns on the road than at home. That ball could be flying out of Yankee Stadium. It could come down to whether Nelson Cruz received "that package we talked about"

Not as good as the Yanks are at home.

Yeah only a 2 game difference(helped by us not trying the last game).

Meanwhile your road record is equal to our home record

Which shows just how mehhhh we’ve been at home.

We ain’t winning this series(or probably even 1 game).

But I ain’t worried about not having homefield.

I'm really curious who the Twins start in game 1. Odorizzi had a lights-out start in NY, but got bombed in Minny. Berrios didn't pitch againt NY this year, but they've hit him pretty good previously.

I just noticed there is no thread for the Tampa/Oakland game. More East Coast bias?

Berrios is gonna go game 1. Expecting him to get bombed.

I’m thinking Dobnak will be game 2 with the bullpen. Odo game 3.

They are worried about Odorizzi and his fly balls but it doesn’t make much sense because 1. He pitched better at yankee stadium and 2. Home runs are not his issue at all

I'm sure if the Twins lose he will just bitch about how the team sucks lol

Better than the shitty ass Indians that much I can admit

Think if every player worth noting didn’t miss 30+ games for us.

Twins in 6.

Despite the one sided media coverage the stats actually point to the Twins being a slightly better team.

I wonder how they came up with those odds... How is it that twins winning in 4 is more likely than they win in 5?? especially if the yankees are the favourite all together....

That Yankees offense is crazy. They had a million injuries but everyone they plugged in to replace the injured guys played out of their mind. You could almost field a second team. Cameron Maybin posted an .858 OPS. Mike Ford checked in with 12 homers in 160 ABs or something. Clint Frazier hit a dozen bombs. Tauchman was a thing for a while. He had an OPS in the .860s. Aaron Hicks had 12 homers in 200 something ABs. I don't even remember who the original starting 9 were supposed to be. Stanton only played 25-30 games.
You can't use them all though.

I can see with all this hype leading up to this series I could see the yankees lay an egg in game 1 and fall behind in a critical 5 game series but I sure hope not
