This guy was hitting .176 on the season, slugging .339 with 11 homers. And he has TWO today?

In the words of Han Solo, I have a bad feeling about this. Obviously, the game, but if random, never heard of Rays are going deep twice in games, that's really a bad sign.

When the random guy gets hit, it spreads and other guys get hot.

Rangers NEED to score some in this game. They have to get something out of this. Something to at least feel somewhat better by the end of the game, because this sucks.

Not going to lie, I was kind of worried about the day game thing coming in but we did last year too and beat the Yankees in game 2, so can't really do much, besides, Josh is 2-2 with a sac bunt today...everyone else should be fine...CJ choked today ...it is what it is

The problem with not starting #1 (or who we hoped was our #1) early is that in a 4 or 5 game series it makes it unlikely he pitches again.

From the looks of it, that's fine with me. Either way, you don't start your ace against a rookie for the fear of that a day like this will happen. Wash was out-coached and CJ just flat out sucked.

If Tampa Bay had a choice they would have started Price today. They didn't though because they we're fighting for the playoffs until the end. There's no way they would have chose to go with the 3 or 4 starter instead of 1 and 2.

This has nothing to do with Wash. It's 8-0. We got out played and CJ got out pitched.

I'm still confident we will win the series. We got our silent bats game out of the way. And if nothing else than pure homerism, I don't think Lewis will let us down. I have faith in Dutchy and Harrison and I think our offense is going to rock them in the upcoming games.

Well, what can you say? I thought the Rangers would drop a close one today because we always struggle with pitchers we haven't seen much of. Moore has nasty stuff, but looks better than advertised.

HOWEVER, what I didn't expect was to see one of the worst hitting lineups in the AL absolutely crush our "ace." I can't believe CJ Wilson has pitched his worst game of the season today. ANYONE out there thinking this guy is worth 18-20 mil a year is insane. He may get it from someone stupid, but not from Ryan. Chan Ho Park would have pitched a better game.

Series is not over. But TB has everything going for them (Ranger killer Shields going tomorrow). Texas has nothing. Just wow! Didn't see a blowout coming today.
