Simple answer .....NO....Why would I? He is a grown man and he makes his own decesions...granted he makes poor decesions, but they are his...and he alone is responsible for his actions and the words that come out of his mouth.. Des he have problems? Probably..Does he need to grow up? Yep...but having problems and being imature are no excuse....

The guy resembles many head cases in the NFL. It's too bad he didn't receive more tutelage in H.S. or college about being a responsible grown man who makes solid decisions. It is affecting him now.

I have posted on this issue several times on the main NFL board. This latest incident just displays complete stupidity & disrespect for authority on Smith's part. Anyone not living in a cave knows that you don't joke when it comes to TSA & airport security (especially someone like Smith who flies all of the time). You especially don't do this at LAX where they had a major incident not long ago.

Beyond that Smith has recently come out of rehab so the reports that he was drinking are kind of disconcerting & you would also like to believe that someone in his position would be on their best behavior. So - no I don't feel sorry for him in the least.

No - I don't believe that alcohol was the main reason behind this. I have had a good buzz several times at the airport yet I still keep my mouth shut and stay on my best behavior as much as possible.

I believe that this was a case of stupidity and perhaps some entitlement. I truly believe that this guy feels that he is better than other folks & feels like he can get away with things like this (look at his track record). Again - I don't feel bad for him in the least. He has a once in a lifetime chance due to his talent & he is rapidly blowing it. I do wish for his recovery, but I am not going to lose any sleep over it. Also - next time that you have to spend an insane amt of time at an airport security checkpoint just remember idiots like this guy.
