Cal is horrible though fwiw. Their schedule will get significantly harder after next weekend though.

I know Nebraska isn't a top 15 team, but they're not Kansas and cal stomped the shit out of em in their own house.

ding ding ding. Also, it's hard to throw deep when you haven't established a run game yet (unless you're A&M). Safeties aren't pulling up respecting the run.

I am not sure that Saban is trying to establish a run game really though. He has a bigger stable of backs and a workhorse in Fowler and Henry, he could ground and pound with those guys all nite and keep Ole Miss offense off the field, if he wanted. Not saying he doesnt really want to, but I think he is playing this game safe as long as its not in danger, winning by 100 is not his style.
