Their was a point in this game where Derrick Henry scored and got it within 7 points we force OU to go three and out we start at our 20 and we drive into their territory giving the ball to Derrick Henry. Its first and ten and we take him out and call 3 straight passing plays and get sack on third and punt and lose momentum. That was a real frustrating part of the game for me. We need to fire Nussmeir he sucks.

This is exactly my point. It's hard to sack him before he hands off to Yeldon or Henry. And OU's defense is built to shut down spread offenses.

I agree that Bama should have stuck to the running game. Oklahoma just couldn't tackle Henry. Every time he touched the ball you could expect 8 or more yards. Nebraska does this same stupid shit. Ameer will get 6 or 7 yards a touch and then we do 3 passes in a row and then we punt away. It's extremely frustrating to watch.

Definitely a mistake that Henry got only nine touches, since he had 161 yards and two TDs on those nine touches. Crazy that 'Bama continued to play to the strength of the OU defense.
