Funny if you look at the team stats for the year, its pretty even for passing and running. Both around 2700 yards plus on both sides of the ball. Maybe you are underestimating the importance of one side while only seeing the other? Pretty balanced team if you ask me.

Alabama has the #1 defense, while Michigan St has the #13 defense.

I don't bet on Alabama so I ain't touching any spread with a 10 foot pole.
