I was really excited at first when I learned that MLB was expanding the playoffs. Then all they did was add some bullshit playoff game. It didn't expand the playoffs at all, it just made a team that normally earned their way into the playoffs now have to play some random game against another team who wasn't as good where anything can happen. This is an embarrassment that I hope they amend sooner rather than later.

I agree. MLB should at the very least have the 2 wild card teams play a best of 3 series, w/ the team having the better record hosting it.
