He hasn't "guided" anything. He rode the coattails of insanely talented teams and frequently cost them games. He was instrumental in the Rangers losing the WS to the Cardinals.

This. A 5 year old could win games with the players JD has brought in. The MY debacle was the kicker for me this year.

I honestly believe Darvish would have thrown a shutout without the Young error. One play can and does change every thing. Young makes errors when games are on the line. Game 6 of the World Series and tonight. He shouldnt be out there and thats on Wash!

If we lose tonight I don't think there's any way that jd can't fire Washington. Too big of a collapse to not fire somebody. Even if wash wasn't deserving of a firing(which he is) he would still get fired IMO.

It was do or die in the series against Oakland too. The Rangers put up an insane amount of runs in the first half of the season. Since then, they've been very average at best.

This game has been a carbon copy of the majority of our games over the last 3 weeks. Early chances to score wasted by poor at-bats with RISP, errors costing runs, playing the rest of the game from behind, and showing absolutely no heart or desire to mount a comeback.
