Also Yuvish is 10-2 with a sub 4 ERA and 10.8 K/9 at RBiA. That is kinda large too....and the O's haven't seen him....


Win the game....and the only thing the Rangers really would have lost is HFA. (which doesnt really matter in the playoffs)

Then could have the potential of 2 Harrison starts and 1 Darvish start in the ALDS.


Yes, the Rangers appear tired. 5 games in 4 days will do that. But have faith/hope that they can get through this and still make the playoffs interesting.

Crazy Game Yesterday Afternoon. Holland almost escaped that 4th Inning woth a 5-3 Lead. But made One Bad Pitch to Crisp and gave up that double to tie the game. Then Josh Hamilton drops a easy fly ball and Two more runs scored. Really a Bizarre Game. Dempster didn't get the job done to begin with. Oakland can do no wrong right now.3 But this is the Post Season. A New Season. Regular Season doesn't mean anything anymore. Hopefully the Ranger Team that started out 15-4 in April will Show up for the Entire Post season. Go Rangers. Lets Win Tomorrow Night. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuu'

I think winning this game gives whoever wins a huge advantage over their next opponent. To win a pressure filled game like this the momentum carries over and I think your mindset means everything come playoff time. At least that seemed to happen to the Mets after they won their 1 game playoff.

3-4 against the Yankees this season. (overall)
2-1 @ RBiA
1-3 @ Yankee Stadium (Dempster lost in a blowout game...Harrison lost 3-0 to Kuroda, and Feldman lost 3-2 to Garcia) Holland started in the 1 lone victory over Nova.

If the Rangers can't beat Joe freakin' Saunders at home with Yu Darvish pitching, then they don't deserve to be anywhere near the playoffs anyway.

So either we win and have just as good a chance as anybody to win the World Series or we lose and we had no chance anyway.

I would have felt worse about our chances tomorrow had the Orioles gone with Tillman or Chen. Saunders is entirely beatable and in no way dominating.

The only thing that has my "worried" meter up....... is that Saunders could be that "middle of the road"/"average stuff" type left-hander that just dominates the Rangers at times...

Possibly but he's got horrible numbers against the rangers. Those pitchers typically eat us up more on the road than at home too.
