They shouldn't. The absolute lack of class he showed this year after everything the Rangers have done for him on a personal level is just sickening. Everything from the public "I don't owe the Rangers anything" comment to his wife basically coming out ad saying he would likely leave to his very bizarre interviews and snarky comments to his lazy and apathetic approach at the plate (the laughing after striking out makes my stomach turn) to his litany of pathetic excuses for why he can't hit or field... just not someone this team needs long-term. Invest in elite pitching and retaining Elvis.

The rangers FO is damn smart. Josh wanted to extend his contract earlier in the year, but the FO didn't want to do it. They were damn smart.
