Historically Pujols does well when he plays against the Royals. I think he is hitting something like .370 over his career when playing there with a fairly large sample size. I'm sure this will get brought up a lot.

He has a .333 career avg vs KC, although much of that was before they became good...he's hitting .240 the past 2 years vs the Royals staff.

Easily the best game I've seen all year! I was going to turn it off when it was 7-3 but I had this feeling that the Royals would still make a game of it. I thought it was going to end 7-5 or 7-6 at that point but then what ensued after they started to come back I started to believe that maybe they had a chance at coming back to win. It was an exciting game and any baseball fan regardless of what team you root for, was given a great treat on the opening of the 2014 Postseason.

Wow, he has fallen off considerably against the Royals. That number used to be close to .400

wow, what a game! Was at a crowded bar and everyone (even women who don't like baseball) were into it.

I am firmly on the KC bandwagon but have very serious concerns about them beating the Angels even one game.
