I just got an email about the TV package from MLB. Since MLB lowered the price to 3/8 of what it originally was, I can take the difference now as a partial refund or apply it to next years package. So MLB did answer that question.

Good deal. I'm going to see if I can get away with not paying for it this year. I get all the Tampa games as part of my local channels, and all the Boston games will be national TV. That's about 20 games of the 60 right there.

I know as soon as I'm blacked out from the Orioles, I'll break down and buy it. LOL

I use to buy the package every year. But would end up only watching yankee games which I get on the yes network. And with the amount of games on the mlb network or national tv you get more then enough

If I got the YES network I probably wouldn't buy the package.
