Long time nava how the hell are you

Been good! Still dwelling in my mother's basement. Always nice to see an old face from ESPN.

Nice to finally have baseball back. Hopefully the Sox pitching can not completely shit the bed and give the offense a chance.

I am pretty pessimistic about this year to be honest. It's only 60 games so MAYBE they get lucky and the pitching doesn't get exposed too badly. But this might be the worst rotation I've seen.

Those ESPN days seem like forever ago. I distinctly remember posting on those forums while in my dorm, sophomore year in college. So must have been 12 years ago.

2012 was awful, but that was just a bunch of down years/injuries. Lester had his worst season (his only season with an ERA+ under 100), Buchholz had a horrendous start, Beckett was hurt/ineffective. There was the Bard experiment, Franklin Morales and Aaron Cook (1.9 K/9 in 2012!!!). I'd say 2015 looked like the worst rotation by design prior to this one. This one just looks awful heading into the season.

Yeah to clarify, I mean it looks like the worst rotation going into the season. At least 2015 had some guys with innings under their belt. Miley coming off 3 straight seasons of 200 IP, Porcello coming off a career year, Buchholz was 2 years removed from a great half season, Masterson 2 years removed from an All Star year.

Hopefully ERod isn't out for too long and maybe they do have something in Weber.

Yankee lineup

1. Aaron Hicks (S) CF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Gleyber Torres (R) SS
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH
5. Brett Gardner (L) LF
6. Gary Sanchez (R) C
7. Luke Voit (R) 1B
8. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
9. Tyler Wade (L) 2B

Aaron Hicks becomes the 1st player to have TJ surgery and not miss a game.

Nationals line-up delayed because Juan Soto just tested positive for Covid.

2020 problems I guess.
I hate to see this happening to any team. Didn’t even start and this already. But to be expected I suppose and probably not the last. I wish him well.

Yeah, I think it's going to be a regular occurrence unfortunately.

Scary thing is he was in the clubhouse all day from what I've been reading not knowing he was positive.

This could get nuts fairly quickly.

My county has been one of the lightest hit. We're all good to this point. Down south is where they're really getting hammered.

A good friend in Ft Lauderdale flew up here to avoid it a few weeks ago, has a killer place in NYC.....he beat the quarantine deadline......
