And Gausman has a better K/9, FIP and xFIP.

I'd give it to Cole because of his innings advantage. 22 is significant especially in this era of starting pitching. 200 innings in 2023 is a lot more valuable than 200 innings in, say, 2000 or 1987 IMO.

Tough thing with FIP is it shouldnt matter as much at years end for a year end award. At that point you kinda are what you produced.
