Honestly, unless the Yankees get some real starting pitching, they will likely finish no higher than 3rd in the AL Central.

Big night for Wong. 4-4 with a double and 2 homers, the 2nd being the game winner. Yoshida added another homer as well, now up to .298/.391/.511 (147 wRC+). I feel like he can be a .300/.400/.500 guy, especially with how excellent his plate discipline has looked so far. I'm fully on the Yoshida hype train.

I don’t know what’s gotten into Alex Verdugo all of a sudden, but he has been on a mission this year. He finally looks like the player he was in 2020. I thought he was a future all-star then. He’s finally showing it again.

Sox are hitting .270/.342/.458 as a team with a 116 OPS+. 2nd in AL in OBP, SLG, home runs, and 3rd in runs.

Not too worried about Casas. Even in his struggles he's still showing good plate discipline, which I find encouraging. That .192 BABIP won't last forever.

Rotation still struggling. Bullpen's been weird. Jensen/Winckowski/Schreiber/Crawford/Martin looks very solid but Bleier is struggling and Brasier should have been DFA'd about a year ago.

Might have to keep an eye on Chase Meidroth. Drafted last year in the 4th round, hit .309/.424/.559 in 19 games at A ball with more walks than K's. Started the year in high A and he's hitting .367/.531/.500 with a 20:16 BB:K ratio. He could find himself in AA pretty soon. And speaking of Greenville players, Mayer's now hitting .299/.400/.481. Also possible we see him in AA in the summer.

Yorke's hitting .284/.415/.552 in AA so far after an injury riddled 2021 and he's got the BB/K ratios more in line with 2021. And he's only 21.
