Thank Baldumbass and Falvine, Yanks fans.

The twins way. Be content with a series victory and do the "game 3 punt"

Toss out a awful lineup with a awful defensive positioning, with a pitcher whose body is that of a corpse.

Well, not for nothing, it is the first time the Twins have won a series from the Yanks since the Model T debuted.

That's pretty crazy to me. I'm surprise that never happened with the likes of Snider/Mays, any of Beltran/Edmonds/Andruw Jones or even Granderson/Sizemore.

Sawx pitching did there best to blow the game

Another bunch that has inexplicably forgotten how to score!
They've been that way all year. They score a shit load of goals for 2 or 3 games and then lose 2-1 for a week

So basically the Red Sox will be lucky to be a sub .500 team

They are just not a very good team. Especially in that division, which is a monster. Put them in the AL Central and it might be a different story, though.

Yeah, coming into this season I thought the ceiling was 85-87 wins. Probably need a top 5 scoring offense and an ERA around league average for that IMO.

Hard to really get a feel for anything in April. I think around Memorial Day is when you should start to get a good feel.

I had them at 79 wins coming into this season. I thought the pitching would be better and the offense wouldn’t be this good. Starting pitching has been atrocious.

Some people are just not made to play in New York.
Begs the question: Which player has shit his pants the most in NYC? I’m thinking Knoblauch & Sonny Gray off the top of my head, but I’m sure there are better examples. @nynasty @DirtDirtDirt & @Pure Steel Can do better….

I remember that Randy Johnson HATED playing in New York, but he was still pretty good there.

Knoblauch? I know he had the well publicized case of the yips, but I don't see him as a bust. .768 OPS from your 2B en route to 3 world championships works for me.

There was also Steve Trout, who Steinbrenner traded for mid season 1987 without consulting his baseball people and called Piniella to tell him "I just won you the pennant"

Trout proceeded to go 0-4 with a 6.60 ERA and the Yankees finished in 4th place. Good times.
