I think that the O’s go with Termarr Johnson tonight. I think he’ll be cheaper to sign than Jones and can use that money that we’d save elsewhere. But wouldn’t be shocked if they went with Drew Jones or Brooks Lee.

And on his pitching hand. It did not look good when it happened.

Don't worry they will draft 12 more shortstops!

eh, you don't draft based on need. Most of these players are so far away that any current needs can be moot by the time they're ready. You draft the best available players and worry about where they play later. Look at the Rays with their plethora of middle infield prospects over the last few years., Taylor Walls was primarily a shortstop prospect, but he's also spent 280+ innings between 2nd base and 3rd base. Vidal Brujan was initially drafted as a middle infielder but they started putting him in the OF in 2021 and he's shuffled between 2nd base, right field and he's played innings at SS/3B/CF. Brandon Lowe has mostly played 2nd in the majors but he's also appeared in the outfield. Isaac Paredes has over 150+ innings played at 2nd and 3rd, and he's also played 66 innings at 1st. Joey Wendle spent over 1000 innings at 2nd and 3rd and has also played about 500 innings at shortstop.

besides, the Sox have arms in the upper minors.

Yankees who have had 7+ RBI in multiple games in a season:

Matt Carpenter (2022)
Joe DiMaggio (1940)
Lou Gehrig (1934, '30)
Babe Ruth (1929)

We’ll, guess I was wrong but not upset as I think with him, Jones or Johnson were guys you couldn’t go wrong with.

I constantly hear that and I tend to agree but they need pitching but with all these SS they could be used as trade bait
