I enjoyed Mel Stottlemyre's work, but you're largely right.

Old catchers make damn good managers as well.

Yup, and you know they're going to try to use the Yankees to drive up Anaheim's price, but 99% sure that's where he ends up. Hopefully Cashman doesn't play Boras's games this winter.

Strasburg should be opting out on 11/2.

I think it's a lock Gardner's back, as Hicks won't be ready until July at the earliest.

They'd love to get rid of Stanton, but no one is taking that contract.

If he does, they need to let him go. Offer him the QO and grab that draft pick.

Also not sure what they're thinking with Didi. He probably would accept the QO.
