Very interested to see how Boone sets the post-season rotation. Based on how he's pitching, Paxton would seem to be the choice for game 1, but I'm thinking they'd be better served with Tanaka. If they go Tanaka/Paxton/Severino/Happ, they'll be able to have Tanaka on 6 days rest for a potential game 5.

seems to me since the yankees have clinched a playoff spot they have taken there foot off the gas. They still are playing for best record and home field throughout they cant take it easy now!

I had put a hotel room on hold in St Pete for next Monday-Wednesday as a just in case.

Looks like I'm OK to cancel. Be pretty cool if I needed it approximately a week later.

I kinda want Paxton to start game 3 because I'm not sure I trust Tanaka in a big spot on the road with the way he's been pitching this season but going to guess the rotation looks like the following:

G1-Paxton
G2- Sevy
G3- Tanaka
G4- Happ/Paxton/Opener
G5- Paxton/Tanaka
