They put him on before the season even started, so I assume even on the 60 day he's eligible to come off sometime in May.

I'll give Boone credit for how well the team has played with 3/4 of the opening day line-up on the shelf, but how in the hell are you going to bring Holder and Tarpley into a 2 run game, then finally bring in Kahnle when the other guys have pitched it to a 6 run game.

Don't understand the way he thinks even a little bit.

One of the oldest rivalries in all of sports rekindles tonight.

Yankees and Giants have met in 7 World Series. Giants won the first two, Yanks have taken the last 5, including the only one since the Giants moved west.

My favorite old story was while Yankee stadium was being constructed, the Yankees were actually tenants of the Giants in the Polo Grounds.

Problem was the Yankees had just acquired one George Herman Ruth, and the Sultan of Swat's HR hitting exploits soon led to the Yankees outdrawing the Giants in their own park.

So the Giants gave the Yankees an eviction notice. Manager John McGraw was quoted (The Yankees should) "move to some out-of-the-way place, like Queens."
