They may be looking ahead. Sevy is much better at home, Tanaka is better on the road and Happ is good against the Sox. If they do win it also sets Sevy up for game 3 at home and the ability to pitch Happ twice. If they win they'll look smart, if they lose they'll be beaten like a drum.
