I have not scrolled through all of this, but it looks like the Yankees will be getting their SP very soon. Looks like JA Happ will be heading to the Bronx. Not a done deal obviously, but it looks like a deal will get done soon imo.

Heyman writes Thursday that "Girardi’s friends say he is willing to take less [money] to manage the Cardinals" than he was getting with the Yankees -- believed to be around $4 million. Mike Shildt has been filling in as the interim manager in St. Louis since the firing of Mike Matheny on July 14.
