Speaking of other Yankee players.....how are Sonny Corleone Gray and Neil Young Walker doing?
There are some sabermetric bullshit measures that say they are both having a great season

How he's doing this, I don't know. That guy would show up at the ballpark and not know who the opposing pitcher that day was when he was with the Twins. He was one of the laziest, aloof and weak minded players that I've ever seen.
I guess he finally started taking his career seriously.
LMAO
Yankees finish the season with like 8 on the road against Tampa and Boston
How sweet it would be if they are able to overcome the bullshit gifts MLB have given Boston these past 2 seasons
lol at using triple crown stats. And even then, his .259 BA is above the league average (.246). He has a .354 OBP (league average is .317) and he's slugging .515 (league average is .407). He's also hitting .280/.348/.671 with 9 home runs over the last 28 days, but hey, bench him. He's really not doing much...13 HR, .250 avg and under 40 RBI's for an everyday player these days is the definition of dime a dozen
he's been hitting for a 126 OPS+ over his last 154 games now and he seems like a pretty good defensive outfielder. Steamer and ZiPS do project considerable regression, but they still have him at a 108-110 wRC+ and 1.2 WAR over ~60 games. That's still a good player.
Also, the Sox have played 1 more game than the Yankees against .500+ teams and 9 more road games.
And yet another instance of a Yankee player that all of a sudden has new found power. Hmmmmmmmm.
Right. Not like he was a former 1st round pick who just might be finally figuring it out.
Then I should look forward to Hicks hitting 41, 47 and 54 homers out of nowhere real soon.....Can't wait......No. I've been told that players that are given up on by the Twins are dogshit and that any success they have later on is due to PEDs.
Sorry, I don't make the rules.

And was on pace for 30 last year as well......He appears to be on pace for 30+ this year while seeming to split time.
I believe that only applies to players whose names appeared as testing positive on the 2003 survey test, and subsequently stated that they were going to "get to the bottom of this" and "inform us all" only to remain quiet on the subject for the rest of their career, but perhaps I'm mistaken.

He's averaged 281 at bats per season in 6 years.....Huge sample size.....Sure. Most players experience a 250 point increase in their OPS between ages 26 and 27.
No excuses,
No excuses, BUT, do you know anything about the Twin organization. Minor league facility was located at Melbourne regional airport . Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch. Org so cheap instructional faculty was the Phillies cause too cheap to have, oh yea lunchtime , soup and crackers served during 90 degree days . So...
