I still don't know what to make of the Rays "Opener" experiment.

Seemed asinine to me. If you have a good reliever you usually want to wait to have a lead before putting him in.

I doubt he'll get enough at bats but he's sure putting up the numbers when he's in there. He's still under contract too, arbitration eligible next year and then a free agent.

German is wierd...Results arent there, but he looks like he has some nasty stuff sometimes

Probably a guy that needs more time in the minors, wouldnt surprised me if he becomes a solid releiever at some point
