I know they are bad, but law of averages says they probably wont just keep losing every single game

Cashner has a 1.67 WHIP, Gray has a 1.71 WHIP.

Nunez has been pretty awful to start the season as well. .249/.265/.381 (68 wRC+) and -0.4 WAR. He hasn't drawn a walk since April 18 and his defense kinda sucks.

Sox could also probably use a catcher. Vazquez sucks. He won't hit this badly forever (he's sporting a .220 BABIP), but last year's production was a product of a high BABIP (.348 vs career .298 and he wasn't a high BABIP guy in the minors). ZiPS projects a 60 wRC+ and Steamer projects a 74 wRC+ for him. Both of those figures are poor even by catcher standards. Leon's fine as a backup catcher (his 86 wRC+ is right in line with the league average for catchers (87)) and he does rate pretty well as a pitch framer.

Yanks can't control the weather.

Sox played 28 road games. Had 0 road games postponed.

Yanks completed 21 road games....Had 25 road games scheduled but the other 4 were postponed

So Sox had 3 more scheduled road games than the Yanks through May 30th.

Indeed. Took 3 of 4 in Minute Maid last month. Good luck duplicating that this weekend. I'll be rooting for you (by for you, I mean adamantly against you, of course)
