The lack of any healthy right handed hitters is giving 2014 playoffs in reverse vibes when they faced KC with only 2 lefties.
KC just rolled out the lefties and watched the zeros pile up.....literally the exact opposite of 10 years ago.

I hated when they traded away Austin Hayes for a useless washed up closer.
I think that was the moment the season started faded. it is too lefty strikeout dominated.

The offense has been terrible for 2 months without any decent healthy righties.
James McCann simply is not good enough. Urias and Westburg both got knocks, but the lefties were chewed up.

OTOH, they’ve managed to stay within 2 games of first place, despite putting five starters on the DL, plus a starting 3b and starting 2b, and having their most expensive free agent signee shit the bed halfway through the season and blow ten games.

At this point I’m just hoping they hang on to a playoff spot…

Why would I go anywhere? The O’s have been bad since the all star break.

This wasnt pleasant, but wasnt all that unexpected either.

You must think I’m as fair weathered a fan as most ny fans are.
