Yoshida had some great ABs, as did Casas. I was there Friday early and his BP session was pretty good too. Plenty of oppo, and they were pitching him pretty fast, and trying to jam him inside.
Nice to have his eye back in the lineup again. One thing this lineup has been lacking has been someone who can work a lot of walks.

Slight finger-nail biter from the 8th on, but glad to split the series. Boston should not be overlooked coming down the stretch

I just wish I could have more faith in the pitching, especially the bullpen.

I do like what the Sox have going, especially with our top prospects on the cusp of the Majors. Gonna need to pursue some pitching in the off-season

I kind of feel the same way. Both of our bullpens are not pitching well right now. It’s going to be pricy to get those additions, whether trade or free agency.

Boone turning Wells into a platoon catcher after all the good work Wells done is going to make Wells go cold

He should be starting at minimum 5x per week

He should be hitting on a regular basis, but Stanton really complicates things. It's not like Trevino is a bad catcher either. Yankees seem to be keeping Wells from facing lefties

Going to be a very short post season if they think they are going anywhere with Clay Holmes closing games

Leaving this tweet here so I can comeback to it in another 2 months or so because I feel like this is the likely outcome as well

O's go back to first where they belong! Beating up on the Redsux has been a pleasure for sure and tell Bonehead Boone thanks for keeping Holms in as your trusted closer-- We love him!!! The Skankees may have been 7 games up at this point if it was not for him... hahahahaha...
