Kimbrel is not good with the new rules. If a runner gets on, and you can only attempt a pickoff twice, there is no chance at holding a runner with decent speed because he is so deliberate to the plate.

Yeah I lived this last year. The ghost runner in extras is even more absurd for him. He’s so worried of people stealing his pitch from standing at 2B that he used to take automatic bawks last year to put that runner on 3rd base instead of 2nd.

He’s a diva and he’s not good enough to be a diva.

Orioles traded OF Austin Hays to the Phillies for RP Seranthony Dominguez and OF Cristian Pache.

I don’t understand this one. Dominguez, even with a higher ERA this month, looks like a different pitcher since April, but I am not sure he’s the high leverage arm that we need. Pache is a right-handed batter, but he’s not going to bring the offense that Hays did in an outfield full of lefties.

A’s gave him a chance and he failed. Phils gave him a chance and he failed as well. I don’t know why the Orioles would be interested.
